PATHWAY TO SUCCESS

A pathway lies before each man,
Slippery, stony, little used.
The weak will fall along the way
The brave hold promise of success.

The lamp of learning lights the way,
So we may bypass ditches of ignorance.
It brightens the path, our eyes, our souls.

Success is won through togetherness,
Friendship's strong aims guiding our steps
With fellowship, love, and understanding.

Success is gained by intense desire,
A force that yearns for all of life -
Its good, its bad, its tender, its sad.

A force yet more intense is spirit
It is the individual - Yearning
For souls depth, for life's heigth.

Service is the deeds of love
Making the path a springtime road.
A helping hand, a smiling heart

With leadership, success draws near.
The courage to be ahead - to guide
The weak, afraid; the crippled, unsure.
